this is beautiful, actually i first discovered cat power here on youtube a few days ago, i saw this video and i was stoked!! then i watched some other videos from 2008 and i have to admit i was a little disappointed in how she seems to be now! but i can understand, people change and so does their music!! and its not bad today either, just not the way i hoped it would be!!!

The new version is more accessible and for the general public.This old version is more raw.We can feel all the profundity of the song.

i just saw cat power (aug 2008) at a folk fest and it was interesting to see how the boys behind her look now...I wanted them to crank out one of these classics, for her to play with them in this trio setting, but no... sucks that ill never get to see that album live, because it really is a totally different band/feel/experience...anyway

i dont get lost she had had an alchol problem she's conqered. Shes a great talent do your homework.if you like art or musc ect.. do you grow and evolve as a human , well so does she staying stagnent no.Her @ the warfield in sf cacared about was being drunk an talking about the next phish concert where my neck hurt for a couple of days geeking the band her and how she signals to sound and lighting ect...Frankly the more band wagond people help her pay for her moms house:)

i think the updated version is far superiour to the older versions. Maybe she's improved LOL - it's subjective. THIS version wouldn't have caught my interest like the Letterman one did
